The season is coming to an end in a fast way on the Deschutes. With winter showing up much earlier than normal in Central Oregon it has all but shut us down for the past week. Prior to the arctic blast hitting and snow flying, water levels had stabilized and the fishing had been good. If you're one of those people who enjoys colder weather, now’s a great time to hit the Deschutes. There’s hardly a soul fishing right now and with the weather warming up the fish should be on the bite.
Lunchtime on the last day of our last trip. It was a cold sucker!
Two trips to go, weather permitting.
